ANF recovers over 186kg drugs in six operations
Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and investigation has been started.
Islamabad: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Friday recovered more than 186 kilograms of drugs in six operations and arrested six suspects.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, 2.834 kg of opium were recovered from a parcel booked for Canada in Rawalpindi. 101 capsules filled with ice were recovered from the stomach of a passenger going to Doha at Bacha Khan International Airport.
19 kg hashish were recovered from a vehicle near the Cock Bridge in Islamabad and three accused residents of Abbottabad, including a woman, were arrested. Two vehicles were seized from two vehicles near Saranan Bazar Pishin.
Eight kg of hashish and two kg of ice were recovered from the belongings of an Afghan national near Lakpas Toll Plaza Quetta. Three kg of opium and one kg of ice hidden in the secret compartments of the vehicle on GT Road Peshawar were seized.
