The court reserved its decision on the petition being admissible.
It is pertinent to note that in the petition filed for the removal of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul- Haq Kakar, the position was taken that his appointment has become ineffective after the completion of the 90-day period on November 15. Therefore, constitutionally, he is no more the Caretaker Prime Minister.
In the text of the petition, it was further said that the election commission did not extend the caretaker prime minister's term, the court should issue an order to remove the caretaker prime minister from office.
