Islamabad: Former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhry has been provided with B-class facilities in jail.
According to the details, Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday heard the case related to allowing Fawad Chaudhry facilities in jail and meeting with lawyers and family members, during which Chief Commissioner Islamabad Captain retired Anwaar-ul-Haq appeared in the court.
The Chief Commissioner submitted the implementation report to the court on Fawad Chaudhry's request, on which Justice Miangul Hassan directed the Chief Commissioner to leave as his report has been received.
The court also ordered Fawad Chaudhry to be provided medical facilities as per the jail manual while also allowing him to meet family members and legal team in jail.
Later, the court disposed of Fawad Chaudhry's plea with directions.
