PTI leader Jahangir Tareen, son Ali Tareen's interim bail extended till May 31
Lahore: The Sessions and Banking Court has extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen and his son Ali Tareen till May 31.
According to details, a hearing on interim bails of Tareen and his son was heard in Lahore’s Sessions Court in which both personalities appeared before the court.
The court asked the Federal Investigation (FIA) officer about the ongoing investigation.
"The investigation is ongoing and we are reviewing the record. Heavy transactions have taken place and we are investigating that. We have also received the record and we are also looking into it,” the FIA official told court.
During the hearing, Sessions Court Judge Hamid Hussain also reviewed the FIA inquiry report. The court later extended the interim bail of Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen till May 31.
On the other hand, both father and son also appeared in the Banking Court.
During the proceedings, court asked the FIA investigating officer whether he wanted to arrest Jahangir Tareen to which the FIA official remained silent and said he was reviewing the record.
Later, the Banking Court also extended the bail of Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen till May 31.
