Lahore: 72 new cases of dengue have been confirmed in Punjab province during the last 24 hours.
According to the Punjab Health Department, 14,712 confirmed cases of dengue were reported in 36 districts of Punjab this year.
The Punjab Health Department said that yesterday, 37 dengue cases were reported in Lahore, nine in Multan, seven in Faisalabad, five in Rawalpindi, four in Gujranwala, two in Sheikhupura and Kasur each, two in Attock, one in Okara, Khanewal and Wahari each.
According to the Punjab Health Department, a total of 55 dengue patients are currently under treatment in hospitals across Punjab.
