Washington DC: US authorities stated said that they have no role in the election of Pakistani leaders. They talk to the elected leadership of Pakistani people.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller stated in a press briefing, ‘They will continue discussions with the government of Pakistan on all issues, and supports diplomatic solutions to various issues between Afghanistan and Pakistan’.
Matthew Miller added that former members of the Afghan parliament are taking action to nominate for corruption. Former members and their close relatives are ineligible for entry into the United States.
The spokesperson of the US Department of State said that 44 companies associated with people involved in corruption have also been named.
