Buzdar active on political front after formation of ‘Jahangir Tareen Group’
Lahore: Following the formation of Jahangir Tareen Group, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has also become politically active.

According to details, CM Punjab has met more than 50 members of the Punjab Assembly in the last 48 hours. Among those who called on Chief Minister included members of Tareen group. Buzdar has also fixed a specific time from 10 am to 11 am to meet members of provincial assembly.
In his meeting with members, CM Punjab clarified that there is no question of taking any revengeful action actions MPAs.
“Important decisions of government affairs are taken in consultation with the members of Assembly. The development packages are being given to every city,” he said.
CM Punjab also held separate meeting with Provincial Finance Minister Hashim Javan Bakht and Members of Provincial Assembly Asif Majeed and Mohammad Shafi.
On the occasion, Usman Buzdar said that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has put an end to the tradition of unfair distribution of development funds to remote areas of South Punjab.
“I will visit Rahim Yar Khan soon. All members of PTI are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he said adding, “Propaganda elements are pursuing a specific agenda and no conspiracy of these elements will succeed.”
Chief Minister Punjab further stated that no retaliatory action has been taken against anyone in Punjab and assured that justice will always prevail.
In addition, Usman Buzdar has also called a consultative meeting of his political team today at the Chief Minister's House this afternoon. The meeting will also be attended by Law Minister Raja Basharat, Industry Minister Aslam Iqbal, Agriculture Minister Hussain Jahanian Gardezi, Energy Minister Akhtar Malik, Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Javan Bakht and other important ministers.
It should be noted that the supporters of Jahangir Tareen have decided to sit on separate seats in the Punjab Assembly.
It may be recalled that a day ago, the Jahangir Tareen group was formally announced and the group also appointed parliamentary leaders in the National and Provincial Assemblies. MNA Raja Riaz will be the parliamentary leader in the National Assembly, whereas Saeed Akbar Nawani will be the parliamentary leader of the Jahangir Tareen group in the Punjab Assembly.
