Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday rejected the plea of former chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan to immediately stop the trial in cypher case and remarked that the judge can choose jail for the trial, but it should be an open court.

According to the details, Justice Miangul Hasan of IHC heard the petition against the non-fulfilment of the legal process for the jail trial of former Chairman PTI.

The founder PTI's counsel told the court that the trial court's order of December 04 has been challenged.

Justice Miangul Hasan remarked that he does not understand what is being stated in the order.

The court rejected the plea of former Prime Minister Imran Khan to immediately stop the cypher trial and issued a notice for December 20 on the request for injunction.

The court remarked that the judge can choose jail for the trial, but it should be an open court.
