Most of the drug manufacturing companies are in Karachi.


Karachi: There is a shortage of life-saving medicines in Karachi.
According to the details, many drugs for diabetes, blood pressure and heart diseases are not available in the city.
In this regard, the spokesperson of the Sindh Health Department said that the patients have complained to the government hospitals about the shortage of medicines.
According to the spokesperson, till now the administration has not submitted a request regarding the fund. The shortage of medicines should never take place, they should be timely manufactured by the company. If they will stop manufacturing the medicines, there will be shortage in whole Pakistan, not only Sindh.
The spokesman also said that the company is dealing with the federal government who had assured on the issue of drugs. Most of the drug manufacturing companies are in Karachi.
