Islamabad: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday initiated another reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.
The accountability watchdog brought the Toshakhana reference against the former PTI chairman and his spouse, Bushra Bibi at the moment when the general elections are not that much far.
Both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were named in the reference filed by NAB Rawalpindi, with NAB prosecutor Sohail Arif, along with investigators Mohsin Haroon and Waqarul Hassan, filing the reference.
The Registrar Office of the Accountability Court in Islamabad is currently reviewing the reference. In a related development, the Election Commission of Pakistan had previously disqualified the former prime minister from the PTI in the Toshakhana case.
