Dubai: The Ministry of Human Resources of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced a public holiday on January 1, 2024 in celebration of the New Year.
According to Arab media reports, the decision approved by the Council of Ministers stated that January 1, 2024 should be a public holiday in the government and private sector on New Year.
The official announcement added that all educational institutions will remain closed on January 1, and the government and private institutions will resume on January 2,
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announces that Monday, 1 January 2024, will be New Year’s Day paid holiday for all private sector employees in UAE.

Like every year, this time also there will be a spectacular fireworks display on the Burj Khalifa, for which thousands of tourists will visit UAE to watch.
The administration has also announced tickets for viewing the fireworks show at Burj Khalifa, in which the ticket price for children aged four to 12 years is 150 dirhams and 300 dirhams for adults.
