The reports stated that the Ministry of Commerce have said that from December 1 to 20, 2023, the exports were of 1.92 billion dollars.


Islamabad: There has been a huge increase in the exports while the trade deficit and imports have decreased in the last month of 2023 in Pakistan.
According to media reports, exports have increased by 33.1% on annual basis in the first 20 days of December.
The reports stated that the Ministry of Commerce have said that from December 1 to 20, 2023, the exports were of 1.92 billion dollars.
It has also been reported that during the same period last year, the volume of exports was $1.45 billion.
From December 1 to 20, 2023, imports decreased by 12.8 percent and remained at 2.76 billion dollars.
In the same period last year, the volume of imports was 3.17 billion dollars.
From December 1 to 20, 2023, the trade deficit decreased by 51.3% and recorded at 84 million dollars.
The trade deficit in the same period last year was 1.72 billion dollars, reportedly.
