As compared to 2018, Raja Riaz's assets increased by Rs37.1million over five years.


Islamabad: The details of former opposition leader Raja Riaz Ahmed's assets in the National Assembly have come to light.
According to the details, Raja Riaz has declared assets worth Rs48.752 million in his nomination papers.
The submitted document stated that the assets of Raja Riaz increased by Rs11.5 million during one year and he submitted Rs4.492 million total income tax in the financial year 2023. His income for the financial year 2023 was Rs14.980 million.
Raja Riaz paid a tax of Rs3000 in 2021 and Rs117,000 in 2022, while in 2023 he submitted a tax of Rs300,000 on agricultural income.
As compared to 2018, Raja Riaz's assets increased by Rs37.1million over five years.
According to the documents, Raja Riaz owns 205 kanals of agricultural land and a paper mill. He has made three trips to Europe in the last three years. Riaz's last foreign visit was for eight days which cost Rs1.7 million.
