Fog: Eight flights canceled in Punjab
According to aviation authorities, the flight from Abu Dhabi to Lahore was diverted to Islamabad due to fog.
Lahore: Eight domestic and international flights have been canceled Saturday due to fog in different cities of Punjab.
According to the details, the fog continues to rule in various cities of the province due to which other routine life has been affected and flight operations have also not returned to normal.
Even today, eight domestic and international flights have been canceled at various airports and dozens are affected. Besides, more than 100 domestic and foreign flights could not operate for four more coming days due to fog.
According to airport authorities, the Emirates Air flight that arrived in Sialkot last night from Dubai could not land in Sialkot again and returned to Dubai just like two days ago, while the flight from Muscat to Sialkot was taken off in Lahore.
According to aviation authorities, the flight from Abu Dhabi to Lahore was diverted to Islamabad due to fog.
The airport schedule showed that the departure of flights from Lahore to Jeddah, Riyadh and Istanbul were also delayed, while the arrival of flights from Dubai, Doha and Muscat to Sialkot were also unusually delayed.
The delays have also been reported in the departure of three different flights from Sialkot to Dubai, Multan to Jeddah, Al-Qasim, Madinah and Sharjah, Islamabad to Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh and Dubai, Karachi to Dubai, Madinah, Colombo and the departure of Jeddah flights was also delayed.
According to airport schedule, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights from Jeddah to Karachi, Karachi to Lahore, Islamabad and Jeddah were also cancelled.
