The police produce the son of former Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa in compliance of the court orders.

Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday directed the relevant authorities to immediately release Khurram Latif Khosa, the son of PTI leader and former Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa, and his associates.
Justice Ali Baqir Najafi of the LHC announced the verdict reserved earlier after hearing arguments of both sides.
The judge also quashed the First Information Report (FIR) filed against them.
The proceedings started after Khurram Latif Khosa was presented before the Lahore High Court by the police. Following a thorough review of his bail application, the court decided to grant him release, dismissing the charges against him.
During the hearing, a law officer detailed that the initial arrest was based on the FIR, with additional charges subsequently added.
The court sought clarification on the discrepancy in the timing of the arrest, highlighting the accused's claim of being apprehended on the same day, contrary to the relevant officials’ stance.

The law officer said that the FIR was arrested before his arrest and then he was arrested. He said that Khosa was arrested yesterday but according to the law enforcement agencies, he was arrested today.
Further scrutiny of the case involved questioning the investigating officer about the content of a video related to the arrest. The investigation officer said Khurram Latif Khosa asked the officer whether he did not know him and whether he did not know him doing practice for last five generations.
The court asked the IO as to why Khurram Latif Khosa was handcuffed.
The law officer said that everybody was equal before the law. The lawyer representing Khurram Latif Khosa said that there was nothing substantive in the FIR registered against him.
After hearing arguments of both sides, the court ordered immediate release of Khurram Latif Khosa.
