Imam shot dead in New Jersey
According to the authorities, the killed Imam has been identified as Hassan Sharif.
Trenton: An Imam has been shot dead on Wednesday outside a mosque located in South Orange Avenue, New Jersey.
According to the authorities, the killed Imam has been identified as Hassan Sharif.
While the authorities arrived at the crime scene and stated that the victim was taken to the nearest hospital in a very serious condition.
After some time, the hospital staff pronounced him dead.
The Attorney general Matthew Plotkin said: “We have not find the motive behind this murder but we are trying our best to find the criminal”.
On the other hand, Governor Phil also said that if anyone knows anything about this murder he is welcome to share the information to the police. So that we could bring the criminals under the law.
The local media reported that the killed Imam has also been appointed as Transportation Security Officer at Newark Liberty International Airport since 2006.
