Islamabad: The federal government of Pakistan and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) appear to be on opposing sides on the issue of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

On Saturday, from its official account, ECP shared a vlog in which a journalist criticized the use of EVMs.
The tweet was deleted after it created this controversy.
As per sources, the federal government has now decided to react and give out an official reaction.
ECP's Twitter account is handled and operated by its IT department.
