Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senator Dr. Mussadiq Malik has rejected the federal government's claims of 3.9% growth rate, stating that every economic indicator points towards government lies.

"Imran Khan and his junior and senior spokespersons are misleading the nation on economic betterment" he said. Talking about Farrukh Habib, he said every newly appointed spokesperson outdoes himself on lies. "Economic disaster, inflation of 16% and unemployment cannot be made better by lying," he stressed.
The senator asked the government where was the farmer package they have been talking about for two and a half years. "Neither can lies bring that package nor can lies end 14,000 billion loans," he said in his scathing remarks.
Addressing Farrukh Habib, the PML-N leader said that he should tell the country about economic indicators from 2018. "After destroying the economy they should be ashamed of themselves for talking about economic indicators," he concluded.
