Umar Saif says 10,000 employment centers being established countrywide
The caretaker federal minister says that a pilot project would create one hundred thousand accounts from first of next month allowing freelancers to receive their payments directly through them.


Islamabad: Caretaker Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Umar Saif says the long-standing issue of digital payment gateways for freelancers has been successfully resolved.
Umar Saif said that a pilot project would create one hundred thousand accounts from first of next month allowing freelancers to receive their payments directly through them.
The Minister said some ten thousand employment centers were being established where the freelancers would enjoy various facilities under one roof.
He said the centers would help increase annual IT exports to ten billion rupees, besides employing some one hundred thousand freelancers.
Umar Saif said a global standard training programme was also being initiated for two hundred thousand IT graduates.
The Minister the Research and Development Funds were also being established to facilitate mobile phone manufacturing companies.
