Karachi to Lahore Shalimar Express meets accident
As soon as the accident was reported, relief teams were dispatched from Karachi Cantonment Railway Station.
Karachi: The Shalimar Express departing from Karachi to Lahore Monday met with a minor accident near Bin Qasim.
According to railway officials, an accident occurred near Bin Qasim on 27 Shalimar Express from Karachi to Lahore in which three coaches of the train derailed.
As soon as the accident was reported, relief teams were dispatched from Karachi Cantonment Railway Station, but luckily no casualties were reported as a result of the accident.
It is pertinent to note that this is the second accident of Shalimar Express in Sindh in the two weeks as last Tuesday also the trolley of the same moving train fell on the track near Pud Eidan in Sindh.
