A Palestinian activist Maryam Afifi Monday drew people’s attention to the atrocities of Israel government urging US president and renowned journalists to spread awareness about upcoming aggravations in country.

Taking to twitter, the activist shared a placard with a caption that read, “This is what will be happen over the next 48 hours”.

She said Israel has declared a war against Palestinians who dare to resist its colonial project and demand freedom.
Maryam Afeefi was widely applauded and appreciated around the world for her courageous show against Israeli barbarism when a video of her went viral as Israeli forces arrested her and she passed on a big smile.
Meanwhile, Palestinians celebrated as a ceasefire came into force between Hamas and Israel to halt 11 days of fighting.
Hamas also confirmed the ceasefire in a statement, saying it the deal will come into force at 2:00am on Friday (23:00 GMT on Thursday).
Following the announcement, thousands of Palestinians took to the streets to celebrate the ceasefire, raising flags and flashing V signs for victory. Words of praise to Allah were also broadcasted from loudspeakers of different mosques.
The latest escalation of tensions between Israel and Hamas claimed lives of at least 232 Palestinians, including 65 children.
