Lahore: Former Prime Minister, President of Muslim League (N) Shehbaz Sharif said that the founder of PTI, Imran Khan would not have been behind the bars now if he had not behaved badly with the nation.
In a conversation, the former prime minister said that if the May 9 incident had not taken place, the founder of PTI would have been in the next upcoming elections 2024.
Shehbaz further said: “He desired that the PTI’s founder would contest for the upcoming general elections 2024 but the evidence could not be presented to the court in this regard.”
Adding on to that the league president said: “whoever wins the elections, I pray that he gets a simple majority so that he can make decision fairly. This is what Pakistan needs the most. Surveys are showing that (N) League is leading in Punjab.”
