The Finance Ministry has stated that Rs5 billion has been released to SNGPL for payments to PSOs.


Islamabad: The Ministry of Finance Wednesday decided to release 30 billion rupees to Pakistan State Oil (PSO) during the running week, reportedly.
According to the media reports, the Finance Ministry has stated that Rs5 billion has been released to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) for payments to PSOs.
It is also reported that the Ministry of Finance say that the remaining 25 billion rupees will be released this week in the form of subsidies to domestic consumers and fertilizer plants which is included in the budget allocation.
According to Finance Ministry, the federal cabinet will decide next week to give two power plants to PSO to reduce the revolving debt, reportedly.
