Cops kill dacoit during ‘encounter’ in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A robber was fatally shot dead by police in an encounter, while his partner managed to escape, in Doctor Colony on Wednesday.

The authorities were informed about two robbers intending to loot valuables and cash from residents in the colony.

On reaching the hideout of the criminals, they initiated gunfire against the cops. In response to which, the police reacted accordingly, and silenced the criminals’ weapons.

After the encounter, police conducted a search operation in the area, discovering the dead body of the robber identified as Hashim.

Police revealed that the killed accused Hashim, had a criminal history and was wanted in connection of several terrible crimes.

The police transported the dead body to the hospital for autopsy and initiated the investigation of the incident.

The arms and valuables were detained from the posession of the robber, while the police has also started the investigation of the incident after registering the case.
