Imran Khan directs Sher Afzal to suspend political activities

Lahore: Senior Vice-President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sher Afzal Marwat was directed to suspend all politicial activities for making statements against party policy.

According to the press release issued by PTI, Sher Afazl has been instructed to suspend all activities in Sindh by PTI founder Imran Khan who is imprisoned in Adiala Jail.

Sher Afzal Marwat has been summoned to Islamabad for violating party policies.

Yesterday, Sher Afzal suddenly announced the end of the election campaign in Sindh and made the resumption of the campaign conditional on the settlement by Imran Khan. However, later he announced to continue the campaign.

Sher Afzal, who expressed reservations against party spokesperson Rauf Hassan, said: “Keeping in view the statements against me by sick-minded people like Hamid Khan and Rauf Hassan, I am calling off my campaign in Sindh”.

PTI senior vice-president had made it clear that he will not lead any rally or meeting till the settlement on behalf of Imran Khan.

However, in another post about three hours later, he retracted this announcement saying that the opinion of the workers is based on truth and ‘I will continue the campaign of Tehreek-e-Insaaf in Sindh by agreeing with their opinion’.
