Former Cricketer Khalid Latif to contest from TLP
On the other hand, Jamaat-e-Islami has selected Shoaib Haider for this seat.
Lahore: The former Pakistani Cricketer Khalid Latif has decided to contest in the upcoming general elections 2024 from PS-89, Malir Karachi by the Tehreek-e- Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
Khalid Latif, who has represented Pakistan in five-one Day Internationals, is contesting from the Provincial Assembly seat PS 89.
According to the details, TLP chief Saad Rizvi called him when he was offered to contest in the elections against Pakistan Peoples party's (PPP) Hakeem Baloch from NA-231
Khalid Latif has acceded PS 89 ticket. Now he will contest against Saleem Baloch from PPP and Ashraf Samu by PTI.
On the other hand, Jamaat-e-Islami has selected Shoaib Haider for this seat.
