It is to be noted that Fawad also got a rejection to contest for the upcoming general elections 2024.


Islamabad: The accountability court (ATC) has sent Fawad Chaudhry to Adiala jail on judicial remand in case of corruption in construction projects in Jhelum.
Judge Muhammad Bashir heard this case. During the hearing, Fawad Chaudhry said to Judge Muhammad Bashir: “Sir, I heard your health had deteriorated? How are you now? There was a lot regarding to your health in newspaper.”
Judge Muhammad Bashir said: “I’m fine. It’s the only way to create sensation in news”. During the hearing, Fawad’s lawyer pleaded the court that he is also a lawyer, he should be given B class in jail. On this, Judge Muhammad Bashir said: "I will write B class in jail for him."
Meanwhile, a bail application was also filed on behalf of Fawad Chaudhry. The ATC issued a notice on Fawad Chaudhry's bail application and asked for arguments on February 1, 2024.
It is to be noted that Fawad also got a rejection to contest for the upcoming general elections 2024.
