According to reports, Motorways-M3 from Faizpur to Sialkot and Lahore-Sialkot Motorways has also been closed for traffic.


Lahore: The plains of Upper Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are still covered by heavy fog today (Wednesday).
Due to the fog, the flight schedule has been disrupted in which 19 more flights had to be canceled while five have been diverted to alternative airports.
On the other hand, Motorways-M1 from Peshawar to Rishkai and Motorways-M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin have been closed for heavy traffic.
According to reports, Motorways-M3 from Faizpur to Sialkot and Lahore-Sialkot Motorways has also been closed for traffic.
Motorways Police Spokesman Syed Imran Ahmed said that visibility on national highways has become very low due to heavy fog, therefore Lahore-Sialkot Motorways has been completely closed.
Syed Imran Ahmed has instructed the citizens to avoid unnecessary travel saying to keep proper distance from the next vehicle, use fog lights while driving, call helpline 130 for any assistance or turn to X for guidance.
