13 children died of pneumonia in Punjab

Lahore: The 13 children died of pneumonia in Punjab within 24 hours. According to the provincial health department, 1,122 new cases of pneumonia were reported in the province during 24 hours, while 280 cases of pneumonia were reported in Lahore during 24 hours and one child died.

According to the details, 12,719 cases of pneumonia have been reported in Punjab this year and 233 children have died of pneumonia in 25 days this year.

It is to be noted that Pneumonia vaccine is not effective in viral pneumonia nowadays. The government only procures vaccines for children from abroad.
