Lahore: The series of deaths due to pneumonia could not stop in Punjab and seven more children died in the last 24 hours.
The children who died of pneumonia are aged between new born to four years, including two from Sheikhupura and Gujranwala each and one from Lahore, Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi each.
During seven days, the disease has swallowed the lives of 68 innocent children and 240 have died so far this year.
942 more patients have been reported across Punjab during 24 hours, while only from Lahore, 212 patients suffered from pneumonia in 24 hours.
As the year 2024 began, 13,661 children fell victim to the disease in the province.
