ECP rejects possibility of internet shutdown on Feb 8
According to the details, ECP stated that the law and order situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is under control.
Islamabad: Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan (ECP), Sikandar Sultan Raja has rejected all possibilities of internet shutdown on polling day.
According to the details, ECP stated that the law and order situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is under control.
Sikandar further said that the security situation is being improved, nothing is under consideration regarding the internet shutdown on polling day, if the issue of internet service comes up, our Election Management System (EMS) will work offline.
It is to be noted that Sikandar had attended a meeting regarding upcoming general elections in Election Commission office yesterday (Thursday).
