Govt accedes Rs4bn for enumerators performed census
It is to be noted that Dr. Shamshad Akhtar presided over a meeting of the ECC including all the official ministers of every sector.
Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the federal cabinet acceded Rs4 billion for the enumerators who participated in the 7th population and housing poll out of the total demand of Rs11.9 billion.
According to the details, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has asked for Rs11.9 billion through technical supplementary grants (TSG) and the Ministry of Planning forwarded a summary to this effect.
The ECC approved Rs4 billion as TSG for payment to enumerators who had performed during the last census exercise. These same enumerators belonging to the education department would be involved in the upcoming general elections.
It is to be noted that Dr. Shamshad Akhtar presided over a meeting of the ECC including all the official ministers of every sector.
