The police say that some unknown suspects killed the woman as she arrived the court premises to record her statement about marriage of her own choice.
Pakpattan: A woman, who did love marriage, was shot dead on the premises of the court on Saturday.
The victim had arrived there to record statement before the court related to her love marriage case. According to the police, as the woman reached the court premises some unknown person shot her dead, and after that fled away from the scene.
The woman belonged to Malka Hans, a town nearby Pakpattan, and she had to appear before the court of Magistrate Ejaz Mahmood.
The police took the body into custody and shifted it to District Headquarters Hospital.
It was the second marriage of the victim. The police started investigation into the matter.
