An oxygen pipeline exploded in Assaluyeh on Iran's Gulf coast when a fire broke out killing one worker and two injured, local media reported Wednesday

The petrochemical complex is located in the city of Asaluyehin in the Bushehr Province.
The authorities have claimed that the blast took place said the blast originated in the oxygen transmission pipeline to two local petrochemical complexes.
“Currently, a technical emergency working group has been formed to investigate the cause of the accident, and after clarifying the dimensions of the accident, information will be provided,” Asaluyehin Governor Abdolnabi Yousefi said.
“The reason for the blast is under investigation and the fire has been extinguished,” he added.
According to the reports, there have been several incidents of fires or explosions in military, nuclear, petroleum and industrial facilities in Iran since June 2020.
