ECP rejects Salman Akram’s appeal to show PTI’s affiliation
It is important to mention here that the Election Commission announced a reserved decision on February 2.
Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected Salman Akram Raja's request to show his party’s affiliation on Form 33.
According to the details, form 33 is a form containing the contents of names of candidates and Salman Akram Raja's Form 33 does not mention his affiliation with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
It is important to mention here that the Election Commission announced a reserved decision on February 2. The reserved decision was read out by Deputy Director of Law Saima Janjua.
It should be noted that the Election Commission had reserved its decision on the petition against declaring PTI candidate Salman Akram Raja as an independent candidate on February 2.
