Asad victory challenged in PHC, ECP

Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) backed independent candidate Asad Qaiser’s victory has been challenged in Peshawar High Court (PHC) and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
According to the details, Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam’s (JUI) candidate Maulana Fazal Ali has filed a petition regarding the victory of Asad Qaiser in NA-19.
Maulana Fazal stated that the Returning Officers’(RO) two different Form-47 have mismatched with each other. He also demanded to cancel the notification of Asad’s victory and repoll in NA-19.
He also accused that before polling the rigging has been going in which some RO’s were also included.
