It should be noted that ECP has rejected Nawaz’s elections excuse’s plea yesterday.


Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restored Nawaz’s plea for elections pretense from NA-15 the constituency of Mansehra.
According to the details, Nawaz’s plea for elections excuse has been heard in ECP. Member Sindh Nisar Durani chaired this case with having a commission consisted on three members.
Nawaz’s lawyer Jahangir appeared in election commission. He stated that amid his late arrival, Nawaz’s plea has been rejected. The recounting of votes has not been done in NA-15.
Jahangir asserted that the form-47 has been issued on many polling stations without the recounting of votes.
Nisar Durani stated that Returning Officer (RO) has submitted a report of NA-15. The report claimed that the results which have been issued on all polling stations are according to the Form-45.
Jahangir affirmed that he has got all the original form-45 of all polling stations so if the election commission give us a chance then we will prove that the counting of votes has not been done on many polling stations.
Later, election commission has approved Nawaz’s request and restored the excuse for elections. The further proceeding will be going on February 20.
