‘We are contacting the political parties on the instructions of founder PTI, following which we have decided to sit in the opposition at the center and in Punjab,’ added Saif.

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to sit in the opposition in the Federation and Punjab.
The leaders of PTA and Qaumi Watan Party met in Islamabad after which PTI leader Barrister Saif said in a media interview that he met the leaders of Qaumi Watan Party following the instructions of founder PTI Imran Khan. May there be harmony and understanding in country.
He stated that Form-45 is the proof that their candidate wins but the results have been forged in Form-47. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and Jamaat-e-Islami have also announced a protest.
‘We are contacting the political parties on the instructions of founder PTI, following which we have decided to sit in the opposition at the center and in Punjab,’ added Saif.
It is pertinent to note that 92 independent candidates supported by PTI have been successful in the general elections.
On the other hand, in the center, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Pakistan Peopels Party (PPP), Mutahidda Qoumi Movement (MQM) and others have announced to form the government together.
In the National Assembly, Muslim League (N) 79, PPP 54, MQM 17, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) three, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) two and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) have won one seat.
Thus, this alliance has the support of a total of 156 members and after getting the specific seats, the number of 172 will be easily crossed to form the government.
Apart from this, PML-N has claimed to fulfill the number of 186 to form the government in Punjab as well.
