The accident occurred due to over-speeding on Muridke GT Road Ravi Ryan U-turn.
Muridke: In an unfortunate incident, six family members have been killed while three sustained the injuries as a result of collision between a car and a truck on Grand Trunk (GT) Road near Muridke.
According to the rescue officials, the accident occurred due to over-speeding on Muridke GT Road Ravi Ryan U-turn, where a truck got out of control and hit a car after taking a U-turn.
On receiving the information, the rescue team reached the spot and shifted the deceased and the injured to the hospital.
Rescue officials added that the victims of the accident have been identified as Shahbaz, Zaheer Abbas, Iram Shahzadi, Abdul Wahab, Ayan and Iman Fatima.
While, three women including Naseem, Khadija and Shamim were injured as a result of the accident. The family of the accident victim was on the way to Gujranwala from Multan.
