Domestic violence survivor Rizwana admitted to hospital
The hospital administration stated that a surgery needs to be done in her arm.
Lahore: Rizwana, a domestic violence victim in Islamabad, has again been admitted to General Hospital Lahore.
According to the General Hospital administration, Rizwana, a victim of violence, was discharged from the hospital after recovering a few months ago.
Three weeks ago, Rizwana was again brought to the hospital due to pain in her arm, where the doctors admitted her after examination. The hospital administration stated that a surgery needs to be done in her arm.
It is pertinent to note that in July 2023, a case of torture was revealed against Rizwana, a young girl working at the house of a civil judge turned OSD Asim in Islamabad. The torture continued and when her condition worsened, the civil judge's wife handed her over to the mother.
Rizwana had marks of torture all over her body, the wound on her head had rotted and got worms due to lack of treatment.
