The hearing of the reference has been adjourned till February 23 without further proceeding.


Islamabad: The indictment proceedings against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the £190 million reference case have been postponed once again today (Tuesday).
According to the details, the reference was to be heard by the new judge who replaced the Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir in Islamabad, but the newly appointed judge of the Supreme Court, Nasir Javed Rana has not taken the charge yet.
The hearing of the reference has been adjourned till February 23 without further proceeding.
It is pertinent to note that the previous hearing also was adjourned due to the unavailability of Judge Muhammad Bashir.
After which a new judge was appointed in the Accountability Court yesterday due to the leave of Judge Muhammad Bashir until his retirement.
