Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday sought a report by February 26, restraining the parties from taking disciplinary action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior Vice-President Sher Afzal Marwat on the appeal to provide details of the cases and not to harass him.

According to the details, Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz heard the petition of Sher Afzal Marwat to provide details of cases and not to harass him for which Sher appeared in the court.

In the court, Sher Afzal Marwat said: “We protested and took out a rally, after which my house was raided and door was broken at 1:00am in the night. They harassed us”.

He requested that the parties should be notified and the details of the cases should be summoned.

‘I know about a First Information Report (FIR) in which I got bail yesterday. They are using a new strategy these days to file multiple cases against opposition leaders,’ added Marwat requesting the details of cases from police and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Justice Saman Rifat said that she would give notice first and ask for a response. On which Sher Afzal said that they can expect anything from them. Therefore, court should order not to harass and not to enter the house without a warrant.
