Another round of talks between PML-N, MQM-P to join govt
It is reported that MQM-Pakistan is likely to get five ministries and post of an adviser in the federation.
Lahore: Another round of talks between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Mutahidda Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) regarding the inclusion of MQM in the government will take place today (Wednesday).
The delegation of MQM includes Governor Sindh Kamran Tesuri, Mustafa Kamal and Farooq Sattar who with meet the leadership of PML-N.
In the last meeting, the MQM had put its demands before the PML-N leadership, which includes the main demand to amend the constitution to empower the district governments.
It is reported that MQM-Pakistan is likely to get five ministries and post of an adviser in the federation.
Reports also suggest that the portfolio of Port and Shipping, IT, Overseas Pakistanis, Planning and Development and Health Ministry ministries is likely to be given to MQM.
