Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) investigation committee which was made for the former commissioner Liaqat Chattah’s allegation in elections’ results will be presenting its report today to ECP in the last session.
According to the details, this committee will be finalizing its report on the Liaqat Chattah’s allegations.
Rawalpindi division’s all concerned six District Returning Officers (DRO) and Returning Officers’ (RO) statements will be a part of this report. The statements will be written down by the committee.
In Rawalpindi division’s national assembly’s 13 and provincial assembly’s 26 RO’s statements has been written down in this report.
The former commissioner Liaqat Chattah’s press conference about allegation in elections’ results transcript has become a part of this report.
It should be noted that Liaqat Chattah resigned from the post of commissioner on February 17 amid rigging in general elections’ results and he surrendered before police.
