Teefi Butt had fled abroad from Islamabad Airport on February 19.


Lahore: Important information about the accused named in the First Information Report (FIR) of the murder of Ameer Balaj Tipu son of Arif Ameer also known as Tipu Truckanwala has come to light.
According to police officials, Ameer Balaj was killed on February 19 after which the travel history of Tareef also known as Teefi Butt was investigated which revealed that he fled abroad from Islamabad Airport on February 19.
During the investigation of the case, the name of the absconding accused Gogi Butt has been put in the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) by the police while the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the police have searched all the airports to arrest the accused. An alert has also been issued.
It is also reported that the second named accused Aqeel alias Gogi Butt is hiding in Pakistan and raids are underway to arrest him, while four of his gunmen have been detained by the police.
Police authorities reported that Muzaffar Hussain, the accused in the murder of Ameer Balaj, was an employee of Teefi Butt and Gogi Butt.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on February 19, during a wedding ceremony in a private society near Thokar Niaz Baig in Lahore, the assailants killed Ameer Balaj Tipu, son of Tipu Turkanwala.
