According to police officials, Khawaja Nadeem Wayan was arrested by the Investigation Police from Royal Park, area of Lahore.
Lahore: Khawaja Nadeem Wayan, the brother-in-law of Khawaja Aqeel alias Gogi Butt, the fugitive accused named in the murder case of Ameer Balaj Tipu son of Arif Ameer also known as Tipu Truckanwala, was arrested.
Lahore Police has intensified efforts to arrest Gogi Butt— involved in the murder of Ameer Balaj. Ameer was a victim of target killing, while Khawaja Nadeem Wayan, the brother-in-law of the accused, has been arrested last night.
According to police officials, Khawaja Nadeem Wayan was arrested by the Investigation Police from Royal Park, Area of Lahore. He has also been arrested earlier.
It is pertinent to note that Ameer Balaj was gunned down at a wedding ceremony in a private housing society near Thokar Niaz Baig area of Lahore on Sunday night.
In the case, along with four unknown assailants, Khawaja Tareef alias Teefi Butt and Khawaja Aqeel alias Gogi Butt were also named and according to the plaintiff's case, the assailant opened fire due to enmity with Teefi Butt and Gogi Butt.
The name of Gogi Butt, the fugitive accused named in the case, has also been included in the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL).
