PSL-9: Peshawar Zalmi set 180-run target for Multan Sultans
Haseebullah Khan remained the top scorer with 37 off 18 followed by Babar Azam with 31 runs off 26 balls. Rovman Powell contributed 23 runs. Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion after seven runs off 11 balls.
Multan: Peshawar Zalmi on Friday set a 180 runs target to Multan Sultans in the 9th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9.
Haseebullah Khan remained the top scorer with 37 off 18 followed by Babar Azam with 31 runs off 26 balls. Rovman Powell contributed 23 runs. Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion after seven runs off 11 balls. Zalmis continued to lose wicket after wicket.
For Multan Sultans, the bowlers performed well and they tried to restrict the Zalmis to the limited scores. David Willey, Mohammad Ali and Usama Mir took two wickets each while Shahnawaz Dahani and Abbas Afridi took one wicket each.
The 9th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans in Multan Cricket Stadium located in Multan on Friday (today).
According to the details, the match will start at 7:00pm.
In the series, Peshawar Zalmi has played two matches so far and lost both of them against Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators. While Multan Sultans participated in three matches and won all of them against Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
