Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI) announced to protest outside of the Sindh assembly during the oath ceremony.


Karachi: Newly appointed members will take oath in Sindh assembly today (Saturday) at 11am.
According to the details, Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI) announced to protest outside of the Sindh assembly during the oath ceremony.
The interior ministry of Sindh imposed section-144 for one month in Karachi’s redzone. The caretaker interior minister Sindh stated that processions, strikes, is prohibited due to the implementation of section-144.
He further said that any action that violated the law will be treated with iron hands. The police forces are appointed in redzone amid any violation.
It should be noted that Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto stated that Murad Ali Shah will be the chief minister of Sindh and Speaker will be Syed Awais Shah.
