Lahore: The polling process for the annual elections of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has started which will continue from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Saqib Akram Gondal of Independent Ahsan Bhavan Group and Asad Manzoor Butt of Hamid Khan Professional Group will face an intense competition for the post of President.
Six candidates for the post of Vice President, Haseeb bin Yusuf, Abdul Rahman Ranjha, Malik Fida Hussain, Mazhar Abbas Sial, Mian Sardar Ali Gahlan and Mian Waheed are in the field.
There will be competition between three candidates for the post of Secretary including Asif Mahmood Chauhan, Qadir Bakhsh Chahal and Qasim Ijaz Samra. While there are also three candidates for Finance Secretary, Ham bin Shoaib Kamboh, Farrukh Shah and Falak Naz Gill.
The number of registered votes in the Lahore Bar Election is 29,216, out of which 2101 are female voters and 27,115 are male.
