Court seeks response from Anti-Corruption amid Imran’s plea
It should be noted that Imran Riaz filed a plea of bail against the therabi lake case.
Lahore: The court has sought response from Anti-Corruption amid journalist Imran Riaz’s bail plea.
According to the details, judge Safdar Ali Bhatti heard the plea of bail of Imran Riaz.
Imran’s lawyer stated that the case is false and baseless against Imran Riaz. He is being targeted amid personal and political revenge and the anti-corruption could not present even one proof against him.
He said that the court should approve Imran’s bail plea and ordered anti-corruption to release him immediately.
The court issued a notice regarding this case and postponed the hearing by February 26 (Monday).
It should be noted that Imran Riaz filed a plea of bail against the therabi lake case. Imran filed his plea through his lawyers Azhar Siddique and Rana Maroof.
It is pertinent to mention here that the court rejected the plea of anti-corruption for Imran Riaz’s physical remand yesterday.
